'HIPPO' Sculpture/Sergio Bustamante

Spectacular HIPPO, Sculpture by Sergio Bustamante, on custom plinth.  This piece was featured recently on the cover of The Washington Post Magazine 2009 "Spring Home & Design" issue in a spread on DHS Designs' owner Darryl Savage's Annapolis home and personal collection.  It was originally owned by and graced the office of Regardies editor Bill Regardie.  It has a wonderful whimsical quality, and yet the hand of a serious artist is evident...late 20thc., papier mache.
