Stunning Flemish Tapestry, circa 1600. This handsome tapestry depicts a story of a king surrounded by elegantly dressed court figures. A millefleurs (thousand flower) ground is typical of the period. The coloration is rich with deep blues and golden tones. A lovely verdure background unifies the composition.
